1. Who we are
Free AI Photo ("we", "us") operates the free AI photo generator at free-ai-photo.com (the "Service"). The Service is free to use and does not require an account, an email address or a payment method. By using it you agree to the handling described on this page.
2. What we process
Prompts and settings: the text you type, together with the style and aspect ratio you choose, is sent to our image model so it can render your picture. It is used to fulfil that request and is not linked to you, because there is no identity to link it to.
Generated images: the file the model returns is delivered to your browser so you can download it. We do not maintain a personal gallery or history for you — if you want to keep an image, save it before you leave the page.
Technical and usage data: aggregate, anonymised information such as approximate region, browser type and which pages were viewed, used to understand how the site is being used.
We do not ask for, and have no way to store, your name, address, phone number or payment details.
3. How we use it
Processed data is used to render the image you asked for, to keep the Service available and secure, to prevent abuse, and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site. We do not sell data, and because there are no accounts we cannot and do not build an advertising profile of you.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Service uses only functional cookies and browser storage — for example remembering your interface language. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. You can clear or block this storage in your browser settings, at the cost of resetting those preferences.
5. Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to measure aggregate traffic and feature usage. It does not follow you across other websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not collect information that identifies you personally.
6. Abuse prevention
To keep the Service free and available to everyone, requests are checked with Cloudflare Turnstile before an image is generated. Turnstile performs a lightweight, mostly invisible verification that a request comes from a person rather than a script. It does not require you to solve puzzles and is used only to prevent automated abuse.
7. Third parties
A small number of providers are involved in running the Service: an AI model provider that performs the image generation, Cloudflare for content delivery and bot protection, and our analytics provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function, and none of them receives account or payment data, because none exists.
8. Retention
Prompts and generated images are held only as long as needed to complete your request and deliver the file, plus a short technical window for delivery and abuse handling. Aggregate analytics are retained in anonymised form and cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data. Because we collect no identifying information, we have no way to distinguish visitors by age; parents and guardians who are concerned about use of the Service should supervise access directly.
10. Your choices
You can stop any processing by not submitting a prompt, and you can clear local storage at any time from your browser. Because we hold no account and no identifying records, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request — the absence of an account is the privacy control.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be described here rather than applied silently.
